La Petite Fontaine is a cuvée made by Christian Voeux, Oenologist, Winemaker and General Manager of the world famous property of Château La Nerthe in Châteauneuf du Pape. Christian has specially created this blend for the Richard Family, owner of the estate and involved in wine making and wine distribution since 1892.
La Petite Fontaine is a blend of carefully selected terroirs doted around the countryside of the Southern Côtes du Rhône region. The main soils are stony clay and limestone that provides the vine with just enough water and nutriments. The climate is intensely Mediterranean climate with the Mistral wind ensuring optimal ripeness and balance.
